The S/V Galatea

The sailing vessel Galatea is a 25' Irwin Yachts 10/4. I bought this boat used in November of 2007 for a ridiculously low price and I have been working on the boat constantly since then. When I bought the boat it was in pretty sound shape overall, except for some cosmetic details and a jury rigged 12volt electrical system that has been a constant source of frustration and a feeling of great accomplishment as I get pieces straightened out and working correctly. Most of the repairs and changes I have been doing are to increase functionality and comfortfor my own preferences.
